Pastor Patrick sees education as a necessity for helping people out of poverty. However, he doesn't stop there. One of Patrick's key values is that 'knowledge' and 'virtue' must always be tied together. In other words - morality without education leaves people vulnerable and easy to exploit, while education without morality can lead to dangerous abuses of power. The 1994 genocide in Rwanda was a tragic example of this.

This is why Pastor Patrick started the Bright Future Primary School - to raise up a new generation of citizens that are not only educated, but are people with integrity and kindness. Patrick and his organization, Africa Bright Future Ministries (ABFM), want to continue discipling these students at a new Bright Future Secondary School (BFSS).

Our team designed a school that was tailored to fit ABFM's vision - and it was a tight fit, both literally and figuratively. Our master plan included all of the BFSS program needs, with very little space to spare. In the end, we presented ABFM with an efficient yet beautiful master plan as well as carefully-researched building and infrastructure design recommendations.

As of 2020, ABFM is still fundraising towards construction of this new secondary school.
